Like most of our dogs, Nori and her sister came to us from the streets of Tijuana. Nori is about 4-5 months old, a Mastiff/Staffie mix and just the best girl!! Nori is so incredibly sweet and funny, she keeps her foster family laughing at her clumsy antics! She loves other dogs, enjoys playing, napping and eating (shes very food driven!). Rescue Me ID: 17-11-07-00117Priscilla (female)

Boxer Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Deaf

Meet sweet Priscilla! This stunning girl is about 8-9 months old and is a Boxer/Pit mix who was discarded on the streets of Tijuana when her 'family' bred her parents and realized that she was deaf. She was useless to them as they wouldn't be able to sell and make money off of her due to her hearing loss. Clearly, Priscilla hasn't had it easy. Not only is she deaf and was thrown away like trash, but we also discovered she has a slight paw twitch (in one paw) when she is at rest. We have had our vets fully evaluate her/run tests and their best guess is that this was something she was born with as it has no affect on her life or well being. ... (Read More)You wouldn't even notice it unless you're watching her at rest. She doesn't seem to notice it at all! Despite all of her hardships, Priscilla is the sweetest girl. She loves to cuddle and loves to play with other dogs. She barks at them (because she cant hear) but just wants to romp around and play with them all day long! She is also very petite (hard to tell in the pictures) and really enjoys curling up on your lap and taking a nap. She really enjoys feeling close to her humans. Due to her deafness, she should go to a home that either has experience with deaf dogs or has a willingness to learn how to live with a deaf dog. Priscilla is up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped and ready for her forever home, Her adoption fee is $250 and if you are interested, please fill out our online adoption application here: https://www.theanimalpad.org/adopt-today (Less)

Belgian Malinois Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Meet the adorable Chico! This 6 month old Malinois mix was part of a litter that we rescued from Mexico from a woman who was breeding his mother and then decided she didn't want the hassle of puppies anymore. His mother was a Malinois, father unknown. Chico is such a sweet boy who unfortunately was born with slightly deformed legs which are shorter than his siblings. Chico's Xrays show that he has congenitally abnormal bone conformation of his fore and hind limbs. Because of this, he can't go on very long walks but does fine on short ones. Chico deeply craves companionship and should be in a home with other dogs as he absolutely loves them. ... (Read More) We know that Chico may be a little different than other puppies but to us, hes just that much more special. Chico is up to date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped and ready for his forever home. Border Collie Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Meet Ms. Mango! Poor Mango spent the entire first year of he life tied up in someone's backyard. She had a litter of puppies, and when her 'owners' couldn't sell the pups, they put Mango and her whole family out on the streets to tend for themselves. TAP heard about this family in need and rescued them all! ' We think Mango is only a year old and a short haired border collie mix. She is a very petite lady at only 30 pounds. She is soooo sweet and gentle!! She likes to follow her foster around wherever he goes and give 'hugs' to people. She likes to go for walks and is working on leash training.
